Who does not love some fried vegetables occasionally? I know it's not politically correct, so to speak, eat fried foods in today. But we can not resist the fried onion rings, fried zucchini, fried mushrooms, fried cauliflower, fried pickles that even turn on the menu today. And what about fried fish or chicken nuggets. Following is a recipe I've had for years. Corresponds to a batter, and we know that is the secret to these tasty treats, to make these fried foods irresistible. ARGO CORNSTARCH frying LIGHT MEAT BATTER AND VEGETABLES

LIGHT BATTER

3 / 4 cup Argo or Kingsford Corn Starch

Flour 1 / 4 cup

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 / 2 teaspoon salt

1 egg, lightly beaten

In bowl, mix first 5 ingredients. Add water and egg and stir until smooth. Pour 1 quart (approximately) corn oil in a skillet large at a depth of 1 / 2 ", filling no more than 1 / 3 full.
