Creative Halloween Recipes

Anyone have any Halloween recipes?
I want something creative and fun when it's done! Thanks
Depending on how much time you have (it can take a little time) and if you want a center piece for a table for a party or something - here is something my kids and I whipped up one year..
A cake that is shaped and decorated like a pumpkin
Get 2 white or yellow cake mixes (even chocolate if you prefer but it's more fun to be creative and color the cake mixes you are using to unusual colors with food colors- or for added effect use red velvet cake mix for the "blood color" look)
If you have 2 bundt pans it is easier - but if you only have 1 - plan on spending a little more time in the kitchen.
About 6 to 8 Oreo cookies with the cream removed from the center
Gummy worms
1 Large Tootsie roll
Brach's spearmint green leaf shaped candy (the chewy kind)
You can pick any color Twizzlers candy (I prefer black)
2 containers of white frosting
Food coloring
toothpicks (1 or 2)
1) Make your cake mix as directed on the box (color it if you have picked white or yellow - the more strange the color the better because when you cut into it you will get a good reaction from those eating it)
2) Pour the cake batter into a bundt pan and bake as directed... invert when cool and set aside to do the 2nd one
3) When done with both cakes and they have cooled - get a fairly large plate that will allow you to have some room on the edges around the cake.
4) Take your first bundt cake and place it rounded side down on the plate - trim the top of the cake to make it level for the other cake to sit on top of it (set aside the excess cake you have just trimmed off) - if you want - you can carefully take a few gummy worms and poke them into the cake without going to the outside edges of the cake (when you cut into the cake you will get a piece of worm) - trim the top of the 2nd cake (also put a few gummy worms in that cake as well - it is not necessary though to do this) and place it flat side down on top (rounded side up) of the first cake and gently adjust it so the lines on both of the cakes line up - it looks sort of like a pumpkin at this point.
5) Take your white frosting's and put into a bowl - add enough yellow and red food coloring to make the color orange - I prefer a medium color orange as it looks more realistic, set aside.
6) Take a few of your gummy worms and cut in half - place in bowl and take excess cake that you trimmed off the tops of the bundt cakes and crumble into bowl with gummy worms - mix together - poke into the hole in center of the cake to fill the hole up - try to get it level with the top of the cake.
7) Take your frosting and frost the cake - following the lines on the bundt pan shape - giving you the effect of the shape of an actual pumpkin - make it as smooth as possible but allowing for the indents.
Take your large Tootsie roll and kind of squash it down a bit and "shape" it with your hands to look like a stem from a pumpkin - bending it a bit and making it crooked and making it a bit wider on one end of the tootsie roll - place it on top of the cake wide side down - in the center where the hole is.
9) Take your Brach's candy spearmint leaves and cut them in half to look like leaves - arrange them around the edge of the tootsie roll to help support the tootsie roll and give it color. You can also place some halved leaves around the bottom of the cake - leaving some room for the last step.
10) Take your twizzlers and cut them to make thin lines for eyes, a nose and a mouth and be creative when decorating that - either scary or funny.
11) Take your Oreo cookies and crush them - but not too finely - making it look sort of like dirt - again cut in half a few more gummy worms and sprinkle the Oreo crumbs around the bottom of the plate and around the leaves you have placed there. Take a toothpick and place the cut side of the gummy worm against the cake and sort of stuff the worm into the base of the cake - making it look like the gummy worm is crawling out from under the cake...
It is a big hit at any party regardless of the ages - kids and adults love it!
