Children Cookbooks
With the rice pudding and the slow cooker/crockpots.?
With the rice pudding and the slow cooker/crockpots. does anyone know what it is supposed to look like when it is finishes is it like regular pudding or is it thicker or thinner??
And I would love to have any recipes that you can't find in cookbooks that other crockpoters have come up with with 7 children I am always looking for new and exciting things to make and try.

Crockpot Rice Pudding
INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 cups cooked rice
1 1/2 cups scalded milk
2/3 cup white or brown sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup raisins
3 tablespoons soft butter
PREP:
Combine all ingredients. Pour into a buttered baking dish which will fit into slow cooker. (This can also be poured directly into a buttered crockpot.) Cook on high 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Stir every 10 minutes during first 30 minutes.
Recipe can be doubled.
