Whats a good thesis statement for Chocolate?
I am doing informative speech on chocolate, not the history but myths vs. truths,health benefits, what to know about chocolate and your pets and types of chocolate.
thesis statement = Chocolate is the number one indulgence for most of us—especially on Valentine’s Day.
supporting details or facts = do we love it, how is it good for the heart (cholesterol), body (good source of magnesium, copper, iron and zinc), is it bad (do most people consumed in moderation) does it represent emotional reward. In your speech, make people raise their hands if someone has brought them chocolate for valentines day or as a gift, or for Easter, a chocolate bunny and then ask if people who did not raise their hands felt unloved somehow. How many women in your audience feel guilty if they eat too much chocolate? Raise of hands.
