What are regular quick cooking oats??
I had someone to answer one of my questions yesterday, and I need help with one of the elements I need: Old-fashioned Meat Loaf-also known as "Basic" Meatloaf Recipe courtesy of Paula Deen a pound of ground beef 1 1 / 4 teaspoon salt 1 / 4 teaspoon black pepper 1 / 2 cup chopped onion 1 / 2 cup chopped bell pepper 1 egg, lightly beaten 8 ounces of diced tomatoes 1 / 2 cup quick cooking oats juice as calls for quick cooking oats ... What are these? Should I just get the regular oatmeal cooking quick?
quick-cooking oats are not the instant oatmeal. Parcooked oats are basically only 5 minutes instead of 40 minutes to cook. You can find them in the same section as the oatmeal in your grocery store and are usually sold in a bag.
