Build A Whiskey Still
Will that "space elevator" is built?

I know it sounds funny, but I read in some articles of the past two years of a certain scientific project: an elevator, if we can call it that, that will take astronauts into space. No rockets, I think. But I still find hard to believe. It sounds so science fiction, such as "Star Trek" television program. "Bean me up Scotty"? Will it become reality? Or do scientists have been drinking whiskey too? What do you think?

I do not know if it will work, but I'm sure that probably see many people bringing good design to it, and if the countries agree on price, they will try to build it. Do not forget, 100 years ago we laughed at although people could walk on the moon. And 500 years ago that would burn anyone alive who would come out with a "invention." It is not science fiction In fact, most science fiction is not fiction at all, too advanced for our technology. Start Trek 50 years ago was a science fiction series. Today we have cell phones that are much more advanced than the little "cell phones" or "radio transmitter" Captain Kirk was. This also goes for "T Robby" it says it is "simply a wonder of Hollywood." I do not think so. I see the space elevator as a good idea to take people and cargo into orbit or at least a sub-orbit. From there it would be easier to gain speed to go to the moon or another planet like Mars. Of course, Project (s) space elevators are now more like "dream" than reality, but we must start somewhere. As it is today with our technology today would likely be fewer than 50% chance of success in building a giant elevator. But considering for many years, say 10 to 20, I might be able to build, perhaps like today's picture, or perhaps completely different, or maybe we decide not worth it, or a better idea will come out. Hopefully, we'll all be here to see it happen one way or another. Just to give my own opinion, the designs I've seen yet in its early stages and does not seem too promising. I do not think it's worth the time, money, or most importantly, the lives that were risked in the project, besides the fact that even if we succeed, and complete it, the danger is permanent for those who use the elevator because it is designed. But I hope we'll see one day on, not once but many, and probably we will laugh at him, and discuss our seriousness about teleport, or travel through hyperspace ... there is no limit to the imagination, and I'm sure anything we imagined, we can build.

Automobiles of yesterday, moonshine runners and building of whiskey stills is an art. Appalachian Mountains, leaving your doors unlocked was a common thing at night. Most of the Appalachia are genuine old folks: if they like you, they like you, and if they do not like you, it is better to keep going on down the road. Once you get to know the Appalachian folks, they would carry on until you hav...
