Cookbooks Racheal Ray are worth buying?
I have a subscription to your magazine. I love the recipes! I'm curious about whether or not their books kitchen is worth it, or will take almost the same recipes? Haha, Chefgrille. Honestly, I hate her, too. =)
I have some of her cookbooks, and I definitely do (and re-do) many of the dishes there. But most of them can not be done in 30 minutes, and she has some very unusual ingredients, some not even be found in specialty shops. I recommend looking through them at the bookstore and make sure to use the recipes in the books before buying them. An easy way to save money: Buy your books at www.half.com. This is a website associated with eBay, where you can buy new and used books, very, very cheap. This is where I buy most of my cookbooks for nearly half the price you'd pay in a regular bookstore. Usually do research by going to the library and look through the first books ... Just a thought. =)
