Good recipes for the child who does not like eggs?
I had a son who did not like eggs, this was one of their favorite foods ............................ I used to have to help me make the meatballs, served with rice, potatoes or noodles Meatballs in Tomato Sauce Serves 4 Ingredients: 150g/5oz crustless bread 150ml / 5 fl.oz. 25g/1oz butter 4 teasp Flour Milk 2210ml / 7 fl.oz. Beef stock 1 x 400g/14oz tin tomatoes pinch of sugar 1 level teasp dried thyme salt and pepper 1 large onion, chopped 450g/1lb lean minced 1 teasp paprika 1 tablespoon olive oil Directions 1. Place bread in a bowl along with milk and leave for 30 minutes. 2. While Therefore, melt half the butter in a skillet. Sprinkle the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add broth, stirring all the time and cook over a fire medium until it thickens. 3. Add the tomatoes, sugar and thyme into the sauce. Season well, cover and simmer for 30 minutes. 4. Preheat oven to 180C, 350F, mark Gas 4. In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, soaked bread (with milk), paprika, salt and pepper. With floured hands, make 16 balls. 5. Heat the remaining butter and oil in a skillet and brown the meatballs, in batches if necessary. 6. Place the meatballs in a shallow baking dish in a single layer. Pour over the tomato sauce, cover and cook for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
