Quick Sweet Sour Sauce Recipe

Three traditional Italian recipes

Italian food is varied, both in ingredients and flavor. Many people tend to associate Italian food with the idea Tomato pasta and bread cover, but there is more to Italian cuisine than that! The soups, breads, salty, spicy meat dishes and delicate desserts are just some of the great dishes of Italian cuisine has to offer. This article has three of my favorite authentic Italian recipes. Hope you enjoy!

Succo Sicily

Ingredients:
4 cloves garlic (chopped)
3 (29-ounce) tomato sauce
4 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (Fresh) + 1 additional tablespoon
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil (fresh)
2 pounds ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 cup crumbs dry bread
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Getting There:
In a large pot, combine the garlic, tomato sauce and paste, 1 tablespoon of parsley and basil. Bring the sauce to a boil, then lower the heat to low simmer sauce. In a bowl, combine pork, beef, the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon of parsley and garlic powder. Thus Mix well together, and then into balls the size of a golf ball. Fry the meatballs in a skillet with very hot olive oil until well cooked. Add meatballs to sauce mixture and cover. Allow to simmer for about four hours. Serve over noodles of your choice.

Italian sausage soup

Ingredients:
1 pound Italian sausage
1 clove garlic (minced)
2 (14 ounce) cans beef broth
1 (14.5 ounces) Italian-style stewed tomatoes
1 cup sliced carrots
1 (14.5 ounce) can green beans North (without drainage)
2 small zucchini (cubed)
2 cups spinach packed (rinsed well and chopped)
1 / 4 teaspoon pepper black
One fourth teaspoon salt

Getting There:
Use a large pot brown the sausage and garlic. When the sausage is browned, add broth, carrots, tomatoes, salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low, cover pot and simmer for 15 minutes. Add the beans (including liquid) and squash. Cover and simmer again for another 15 minutes (or until the zucchini has become the case). Remove from heat, then add spinach. Put the lid on so the heat from the rest of the cooks soup spinach (about 5 minutes). hot Italian bread with a good serve.

Tiramisu

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 / 2 cup sweet Marsala wine
6 egg yolks
1 pound mascarpone cheese at room temperature
(Substitute mascarpone: 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, ½ cup cream, 5 tablespoons sour cream)
1 1 / 2 cups hot water
5 teaspoons instant coffee powdered
1 / 2 cup coffee flavored liqueur
12 oz sliced ladyfingers or sponge cake
Unsweetened cocoa (for dusting)
1 oz semi-sweet chocolate (Grated) - optional

Getting There:
In a bowl, mix 1 1 / 2 cups hot water with instant coffee. Stir until coffee is dissolved, then add the liqueur. Immerse in a Ladyfinger at a time, quickly turning to coat. Remove from liquid and place in the bottom of a plate of 8 x 8 inches. Line of all coffee-coated ladyfingers side by side until most of the pan bottom is covered. Pour half of mascarpone cheese (or cream cheese mixture) on the top of the ladyfingers. Add another layer of lady fingers coated and cheese. Refrigerate this for about four hours, or until dessert is firm. Just before serving, dust top with cocoa. Garnish with grated semi-sweet chocolate (if desired) and cut into squares to serve.
