Nigella Lawson Cookbooks

Cookbook is Nigella Lawson's 'Feast' worth having?
I think it depends on your personal tastes and habits kitchen. I own a lot of cookbooks, including all of Nigella's. Personally, I have a lot of great results with his recipes, but I think that some of them are time consuming or involve a lot of ingredients. If you enjoy cooking, like me, then it is definitely worth it. Not cheap but, especially if you're thinking buy the hardback version, so it's definitely not worth it unless you plan on actually trying the recipes. However, if you're a casual cook, or who are learning the basics, then you definitely would recommend a different cookbook that focuses more on key points, such as Joy of Cooking series. Every time I have to just prepare a simple recipe, such as chicken or pasta, fast food or some other usually take other cookbooks, usually never those of "celebrity chefs. Only when I'm entertaining or want to try something fancy do I reach the chef-written books. I also have all Jamie Oliver's books and out of the two, I think Nigella easier to follow and have better results with their recipes. Good luck!
