Mexican Cookbooks

Gifts of food are welcomed and appreciated by all parties and special occasions. It can be a gift basket made at home or may be a more elaborate gift basket containing gourmet foods and a bottle of wine.

Wicker baskets are traditional containers, but there are many other containers that are suitable. Unbreakable containers, as wooden boxes, trays with an edge, basins, bathtubs and buckets of ice are good alternatives. Since the theme gift baskets are very popular, here are three of my songs favorite time to make a food basket.

Cookie Lover's Theme
This is a gift for anyone who loves sweets. It is a good idea for colleagues and teachers, as well as family and friends. A cookie jar, bowl, or a basket are all containers Nice. Line the container with a decorative towel, purchased shred, or tissue paper. Fill with an assortment of cookies wrapped in small cellophane bags, cookie bought mix, chocolate chips, herbal tea, gourmet coffee, or envelopes of hot chocolate mixture. Add a wooden spoon, spatula and cookie recipes Favorite writing on recipe cards. Wrap the completed gift in a cello bag, tied at the top with curly ribbon. If desired, tie a cookie cutter with decorative ribbon and add a gift card.

Barbecue Item
This is a good idea especially for men on Father's Day, birthdays or anniversaries. It is also a good gift to take if we are invited as a guest to a barbecue or housewarming. Use a container that can double as a refrigerator, such as a metal or plastic basin, tray, or bucket. An unbreakable tray with an edge works well, too. Include gift of items such as BBQ tools, an apron, an oven mitt, cookbook, or citronella candles. Barbecue sauces, marinades, rubs, hot sauce, and cans of soda or beer are all necessary elements for a barbecue.

Mexican / Southwestern Theme
Anyone who enjoys food Spicy would be more than happy to receive an assortment of Mexican food items. The best advice I can gift you in creating this theme gift basket is to make that is spicy and colorful. Put an assortment of spices, dried or canned beans, rice, bags of chips, and jars of salsa in a basket or a bowl of colors or serving tray. Add some fresh fruit, like avocados, lemons, limes, and pineapple. You may want to add a cookbook for Mexican food or drink. The line the container with plush towels and brightly colored top of your gift basket with some fresh peppers. Do not forget the ingredients for margaritas.
