Calling all cooks! Does anyone have a special recipe or favorites they'd like to share with me? I'm always looking for something again, and find that the tried and true recipes are our favorite. Beats cookbooks every day! Thanks in advance.
I make this pasta salad for all potlucks and tailgate parties sports. People always ask for the recipe. Since it is summer, it is really refreshing and delicious ... Shrimp and vermicelli noodle salad 1 pounds of pasta, broken into three parts 1 lemon 1 ½ pound cooked baby shrimp 6-8 stalks celery, chopped 1 bunch chopped green onions (including greens), chopped 4 oz Pepper or roasted red pepper 4 hard boiled eggs (chopped and 3 for garnish) 2 cups mayonnaise 1 cup sour cream 2 tbsp. Dill Salt and pepper Boil the pasta, drain and mix with lemon juice. Set aside. Mix all ingredients. Incorporate the pasta. Garnish with sliced hard boiled egg, paprika and parsley. Refrigerate overnight (or at least 4 hours).
