Casserole Recipe
As a busy mother and grandmother, I am always looking for ways to prepare delicious meals for my family ... for those busy nights when you do not have to spend hours in the kitchen. To resolve this problem, I like to casserole dishes and freeze for future meals.
When I do these 3 recipes, I make new all of them in one day. You can freeze in their baking, however, I like going to the dollar store and purchase disposable aluminum molds. Usually you get 3 for $ 1.00. I left completely cool and then wrap to freeze properly. Be kept in your freezer for up to 6 months.
Chicken Casserole with cheese
1 pounds Velveeta cheese, sliced diced
1 cup milk
Salad 1 / 2 cup dressing
2 cups cooked chicken, diced
2 cups peas, cooked and drained
8 oz noodles, cooked and drained
1 tablespoon chopped chives
Heat Velveeta cheese, milk and dressing lower heat. Stir until cheese sauce is smooth and creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Pour into pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
Chicken and rice casserole
2 cans cream soup chicken
1 small box instant white rice
6 boneless chicken breasts, skinned
1 package onion soup mix
1 / 4 breadcrumbs
Put a can of soup at the bottom of the pan, cover with rice. Place chicken breasts on top of rice, sprinkle with onion soup mix, top with the second can of soup. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle the breadcrumbs on top. Place back in oven for another 15 minutes.
Oriental Chicken Casserole
2 3 / 4 cups of rice with chicken, cubed
1 small can mushrooms or 1 cup fresh mushrooms
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 / 2 cup cashews
1 can cream of mushroom
1 / 2 cup celery, diced
1 teaspoon onion, finely minced
1 3 / 4 cups chow mein noodles
Place 1 cup chow mein noodles in the bottom of your baking dish. In a large bowl combine all ingredients except for the remaining 3 / 4 cup chow mein noodles. Mix until combined. Sprinkle remaining chow mein noodles on top. Bake in oven at 350 degrees 35-45 minutes or until done.
