How to make an award winning apple pie?
I'm looking for some tips and recipes that will make the perfect apple pie, please.
Apple Pie Jelly Recipe: Masa 1 cup graham cracker crumbs 3 tablespoons melted margarine and press 1.Combine ingredients in an ovenproof 9-inch cake, that has been lined with foil. 2.Chill. Filling 3 pounds peeled, seeded, chopped tart apple 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 cup apple jelly apples 1.Toss lemon juice and set aside in large bowl. 2.Heat apple jelly in a saucepan until liquid. Do not boil. 3.Pour liquid over slices apple and stir to coat evenly. 4.Pour apple slices in prepared crust and return to refrigerator for at least two hours. Topping 2 / 3 cup sugar 1 tablespoon honey 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon nutmeg 2 / 3 cup cold margarine, cut into small pieces. 1.Using a fork, combine the sugar and molasses until well blended. 2.Sift flour, cinnamon and nutmeg together, then combine with sugar molasses mixture with a fork. 3.When mixture well cut in margarine until it resembles small peas. 4.Sprinkle beating over cold cake. 5.Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until brown beyond. This cake is delicious hot or cold. To serve, use foil to remove the entire pie pie plate, cut into wedges and serve with a scoop of ice cream if desired.
